Pathway to Podium Programme

The creation of New Zealand’s first nationwide talent development programme, Pathway to Podium, launches in April 2014. 

The programme will identify emerging athletes from a range of sports and ensure they’re better prepared to enter the demanding high performance sport system.

Pathway to Podium is a partnership between Sport New Zealand, High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ), National Sports Organizations (NSOs), and Regions; and will support selected emerging athletes through a national network of up to 14 Regional Talent Hubs. 

Each hub will have numerous partners that complement what the hub can do to assist young athletes.
