Started Swim Coaching and Teaching in 1977 – robust apprenticeship with Duncan Laing
Former NZ Rep in SLS and OW Swimming
Former Pro Surf Ironman Athlete
Returned to Dunedin in 2018 after working overseas for 20 years in High Performance Coaching
Employed with British Swimming for 14 ½ years and with Swim Ireland for 5 years
High Performance roles also included local club and junior Swimming Development
3 Previous National Head Coach roles – Swimming, Para Swimming and Surf Life Saving

In association with Swim NZ, we support the continued professional development of swim coaches.

We have a team of casual coaches who are qualified (or working towards their qualifications). Inline with Swimming NZ policies, our coaches are all police vetted and have completed the following online courses:
